I Can Make classes always start with short drawing sessions, followed by painting, sculpting, engineering, sewing, crafting and more.
As part of our doings we may delve into relevant cultural, historical, and scientific connections, including music and food.
Students are included in decision-making for our curriculum.
In our times of chaos and change, focused, careful and consistent study of drawing and various art media offer inspiration and the opportunity to expand self-awareness and grow in confidence. Doing the deep work of drawing - really focusing and learning to draw - is a rich and vital process of learning. "Failure" is valued as experience to grow from. Self-correction - taking a pause and setting new goals - are skills that can be taken into our understanding of ourselves and relationships with others. Classes are geared to the needs and temperament of each group.
